Amanda Momeni is a highly qualified EFL teacher and has taught a wide variety of general English and business courses in both Germany and Spain.  In addition to her English teaching, along with Emma, she runs the Munich CELTA teacher training courses and is the co-author of The Ultimate Guide to CELTA.

Both Emma and Amanda completed a 4-week CELTA in the UK and remember well the intensity of the course, the sleepless nights as well as the camaraderie.  On completion, they both realised that they had found the career path they had been looking for and later went on to gain a Diploma in Teaching which in turn enabled them to train to be CELTA trainers.

Having trained many wannabe teachers over the years, they noticed that trainees often fall into the same traps, causing themselves unnecessary heartache.  What initially was going to be a handbook for their own trainees became a resource aimed at anyone considering doing a CELTA course.  If you would like to come and do a course with us in Munich, we would welcome your application.

Amanda and Emma enjoyed writing The Ultimate Guide to CELTA so much that they have decided they would like to continue writing and have therefore decided to write a blog.
